What I do is act as the 'go-to guy' for various independent developers and small businesses that need help on any given project. I work primarily with Flash and open source technology for CMS type applications, however I started in 2000 making html websites for local businesses. I have a 3-year multimedia certification and 7 years full time experience. I made my first website back in 1995. I also teach 3rd year XML and Flash at the Institute for Advanced Media in downtown Vancouver.
You can review the bulk of my online portfolio on StevenStark.com, although most of my flash work is offline content. My flagship flash piece is a mini-cd that customers received for free when purchasing Sony's 'DaVinci code' at Circuit City. The media was provided and my task was to put it all together in flash and program a few games and custom elements, and make sure it works in windows and osX. If we have a meeting I will be sure to bring this along with me to show you. It is quite an accomplishment for me.
